GLC Mall a Place to Buy and Sell Handmade Arts and Crafts

GLC Mall a Place to Buy and Sell Handmade Arts and Crafts: "' Island Reverie ' by Linda Heslop
Artist Bio:
Heslop Linda
Inspired by the natural scenery of her home on Vancouver Island, Linda Heslop paints with detailed realism. She often looks beneath the surface, in hidden places for her subject matter, inviting the viewer of her paintings to glimpse deep into caves or see the treasures secreted in tidal pools. She has had international acclaim for fifteen years for her award-winning cave art, and her book 'The Art of Caving', along with her paintings which are in collections worldwide.

I have decided to feature more of Linda Heslop's work. I love how her work captures and evokes a west coast feel. Most of her work is only available in Limited Edition Giclee format. The price is somewhat higher than open edition poster but I think you will agree the quality of the work and the unique content and feel of her work if worth it.

This print measures 20'h x 28'w
A 10% shipping and handling fee will be
added if you choose to purchase this item"

Where can I sell my Crafts

Selling your unique hand crafted items at Craft Show is a great way to get your craft business up and running, but because Craft Shows only happen on special occasions (Christmas, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day etc.) you will have to decide on how to keep you crafts in front of the public for the rest of the year.
The Internet is an amazing venue especially now when hand crafted gifts are in great demand. Setting up an e-commerce web site can be very expensive if you are not computer savvy, not to mention the cost of running and promoting that web site.
There is another way to get online without having to pay huge amounts of money, you can open a craft shop in an online craft mall, but be very careful when deciding on a craft mall (not all online malls are equal). Look for a Crafters Mall where you can have your own store front, a control panel where you can easily add your own product pictures, and product descriptions, all your orders should be going directly to you and payment for your products should be going directly to you. Make sure you only pay a flat fee and you don’t have to pay any commissions on sales, (commissions can make a big hole in your profits) also make sure that there are no hidden costs and no contracts to sign so if you decide to leave the mall you can do so whenever you choose. When you find the Craft Mall that you feel is a good fit and open your store remember you cannot just sit back and expect your business to take off. Just like having a brick and mortar store you still have to work at your business, adding new stock on a regular basis, keeping in touch with your regular customers, letting them know they can now shop at your store 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for that special handcrafted gift. Tell everyone you come in contact with about your new online shop where they can buy unique handcrafted gifts 365 days a year. Pass out your business cards and flyers every chance you get.

New Store at the GLC Arts and Crafts Mall

Pastiche Art has just opened a new Poster Store at the GLC Arts and Crafts Mall.
This is a complimentary store that works in tandem with the main store Pastiche Art. Over time Pastiche Art has built up a good stock of quality posters. Some of these posters are waiting for an appropriate window frame (size and look) and others are simply waiting to be framed with old fence wood. With this store you can choose to purchase a poster as is, the prices are very competitive with the main line companies, or you can contact Pastiche Art to be more proactive in finding a window frame or having a fence wood frame made for a particular poster that you like.

Art with a View

Pastiche Art was born out of Brent's love for old wood window frames (he views tham as works of art in themselves, with their own hidden stories to tell), and the wide world of graphic, visual art. He desribes the process as a matchmaking dance that finds and marries wood window frames with evocative, complementary prints. Focused care is given to bring out and maintain the character of each frame while at the same time adapting it to a particular work of art. The end result is a unique "pastiche" (a work of art combined from various sources). He derives satisfaction when the finished product draws the viewer in giving you a three dimensional sense of looking out a window into an actual scene. Some prints may be used in more that one frame, but each frames originality ensures that the end product will never be the same. Pastiche Art is proud to be part off the value added effort to wisely re-use our natural resources.

Shopping at Gold Leaf Crafters Online Mall

If you have an appreciation for the finer things in life, including handmade art, clothes, jewelry, and other items, visit the Gold Leaf Crafters Online Mall. The Gold Leaf Crafters Online Mall is a community of artists, designers, and crafters that have placed their merchandise for sale. It is one of the easiest ways to not only purchase the handcrafted items that you admire, but also a way to give back to the crafter and artists who created them.

When shopping at Gold Leaf Crafters Online Mall you can rest assure that 100% of the purchase price of your items goes directly to the artist who fashioned them. This is important in a time when mass production has made it difficult for those who take the time to hand craft their items to make a living. The Gold Leaf Crafters Online Mall provides an outlet where you can browse through numerous artists’ and crafters’ merchandise and purchase the items that you like.

Unlike going to bazaars, flea markets, or craft sales, the Gold Leaf Crafters Online Mall allows you the freedom to shop at your leisure, and from the comfort of your own home. The Internet has provided customers the luxury of making purchases without ever needing to leave their home. This has many benefits, some of which include saving money on gas as well as time, but one of the most amazing benefits that shopping online provides, is the ability to purchase products that you wouldn’t otherwise have access to.

Mail order shopping relied heavily upon the use of catalogs, but today’s Internet Market provides easy access to clear pictures of products, as well as the ability to shop worldwide. The Gold Leaf Crafters Online Mall has artists, designers, and crafters from various regions, and geographic locations. This not only provides more merchandise to choose from, but it also helps shape the products that are for sale.

When someone shops in a local craft fair or flea market, the items are typically crafted by local artisans. Many artists and crafters are greatly influenced by their surroundings. This can have an effect on the materials used in their crafts as well as the nature or the finished product itself. When shopping for handmade craft items from the Gold Leaf Crafters Online Mall, not only are you purchasing products from various crafters, but you will find that the differences in location greatly influences the wide variety of products that you can choose from.
